They were so immersed in their dreams that they began to transform themselves into what they were dreaming.

Underwater

When I was very little I used to climb the rocks through which passed a stream. I was looking for the most remote and desolate waterfall, it was full of magic. Every noise disappeared around me, the only thing I could hear was the water hitting the rocks. Suddenly I was surrounded by strange beings.

Cuando yo era pequeña escalaba las rocas de una quebrada para llegar a la cascada mas lejana y desolada, estaba llena de magia. Todos los ruidos desaparecían a mi alrrededor y solo quedaba el ruido del agua caer sobre las rocas. Derrepente estaba yo rodeada por seres extraños.

Midnight

The dream world is like an ocean filled with fog instead of water, and at night that fog comes alive. I try to paint the characters that I find there. At midnight you'll see the apparitions that the imagination can't reach during the day.

El mundo de los sueños como un grán oceano de nieblas que toman vida. Trato de pintar los personajes que ahí encuentro. A la media noche comienzan a dibujarse las apariciones que por el día la imaginación no podía alcanzar.

Dreaming

I love the idea of being lost in a forest where nothing is the way it's suppose to be. Everything floats around like in a foggy dream.

Me gusta mucho la idea de estar perdida en un bosque donde cosas fantasticas pasen y nada se comporta como deberia ser. Todo flota a tu alrrededor como en un sueño.

A Wise Mouse

Rogelio is the new family member. This time I experimented with new materials to make the hat. It was a sticky situation, but I had a lot of fun doing it. I like being spontaneous when working with my dolls. That's why I don't plan too much on how are they gonna look at the end. I'd rather let them surprise me.

Rogelio es el nuevo integrante de la familia. Esta vez experimenté con nuevos materiales para lograr construir el sombrero. Aunque fue una situación bastante pegajosa, me divertí mucho haciendolo. Me gusta ser expontanea y trabajar sin planificar mucho cómo se verán mis muñecos cuando estén terminados. Al final es una sorpresa ver como resultó todo, y eso me encanta.
